$$$WELCOME TO THE MEAT LOCKER$$$

Yo, I'm Meat Man. I got into modding through the GameBoy Zero project, then moved into emulation and Raspberry Pi builds, then PS3, then 360, and eventually landed on the original Xbox — which is where I stayed.

I have been modding original Xbox hardware for over two years. I have experience across multiple softmod methods, hardmod installs, firmware, dashboards, EEPROM recovery, and the full range of storage upgrades. Over 25 consoles re-homed and living online right now.

What makes me different from most people in this space: I am a gamer first. I actually use this hardware. I run a full analog component setup into a CRT, an HDMI setup, and a composite setup. I know what these machines look like at every output level because I use all of them.

I am not doing this for profit. That means I have no reason to oversell you, upsell you, or tell you something is necessary when it is not. If you do not need a modchip, I will tell you. If your setup plan is going to cause you problems, I will tell you that too. Before you spend money.

Do not confuse "beat up" with "bad." Some of the best machines look like they crawled out of a trunk.

Who I'd like to meet:
Gamers who actually intend to use the hardware. People who read the tour before messaging me. Anyone who respects a machine with scars and understands what it took to earn them.

He said this Xbox had “personality.” I think that means it was covered in nicotine and needed therapy, but it works great now.

Best place on the East Coast to get told your modchip idea is unnecessary. Respect.
